LAFT is a movable and adjustable distance measuring system
The target image it projects is directly imaged by the thermal imager being measured. Evaluating the target image produced by the thermal imager can not only get the quality of the image, but also the important parameters of the thermal imager to be measured.
The LAFT measurement system does not use collimator projection. The distance between the target and the thermal imager must be greater than the minimum imaging distance of the thermal imager to be measured. Different targets can be used to generate different images to measure various performance parameters of the thermal imager. It can be used in the field, in an armory, or in a laboratory with sufficient space for infrared camera measurements.
The LAFT measuring device includes TCB-6D blackbody and controller, a series of targets, SB-3 protective box, tripod, shipping box and other accessories.

Features of LAFT system:
· Multifunctional measurement tools used in the field and in the laboratory;
· Small size is suitable for field and armory applications;
· There is no restriction on the optical aperture of the thermal imager to be measured;
· It can be packed in a box and transported to any place;
· Able to measure the thermal imager at a certain distance (there is no need to disassemble the thermal imager from the helicopter or tank);
· It can measure several thermal imaging cameras at the same time (projecting images on several thermal imaging cameras at the same time);
· The distance between the LAFT system and the thermal imager to be measured must be greater than the minimum imaging distance of the thermal imager;
· LAFT system can measure the following parameters:
Basic type: MRTD, MDTD
Upgraded type (with SAT-T module): MRTD, MDTD, MTF, NETD, FPN, non-uniformity, SiTF, distortion, FOV.
