With the rapid development of autonomous driving and assisted driving technologies, automotive cameras are key perception components, and their performance directly affects the safety and reliability of the system. In low temperature environments, the image quality of the camera is mainly affected by the internal adhesive of the lens and the deformation of the lens itself, resulting in changes in focal length, which in turn affects the image clarity. In high temperature environments, the image quality is degraded mainly due to the increase in noise and decrease in contrast caused by overheating of internal components. The CS-TC094 temperature drift test chart combined with the CS-TPTS-2 temperature drift test system can effectively test and quantify the changes in camera image quality at high and low temperatures.
The CS-TC094 temperature drift test chart uses a transmissive material and needs to be used with a transmissive light source and a teleconverter. It can help users detect changes in camera image quality in high and low temperature environments. The test chart pattern is SFRreg, supports a 5° tilt setting, and detects image clarity, lateral chromatic aberration, and MTF (modulation transfer function) performance under camera temperature drift.
