ISO 14524 Camera Contrast Test Chart (12-Step)

The ISO 14524 Camera Contrast Test Chart (12-Step) is a reflective grayscale test chart designed with reference to the relevant requirements of ISO 14524:2009. It is intended for opto-electronic conversion function (OECF) testing of electronic still-picture cameras and other digital imaging systems, and can also be used for image noise-related analysis.

ISO 14524:2009 specifies methods for measuring the opto-electronic conversion function (OECF) of electronic still-picture cameras. OECF describes the relationship between scene luminance or focal-plane exposure and the digital output levels of an imaging system.

The CS-TC003-12 features 12 neutral gray patches with different optical densities. By capturing the chart under controlled illumination and analyzing the digital output of each gray patch, the test system can obtain grayscale response data for OECF-related measurement and analysis.

The chart is designed with an 80:1 contrast ratio and a gray density range of 0.10 to 2.00. It is suitable for image quality testing of cameras, camera modules, and other digital imaging devices.
