The ZnS thermal imaging lens is designed for NV (night vision) ADAS automotive applications. It offers low thermal sensitivity and high mechanical strength.
By adopting DLC coating technology, the lens enables a germanium-free protective window structure and is suitable for automotive night vision ADAS systems operating in the 8–12 μm infrared band
Industry Challenges
· NV ADAS systems require high thermal stability from infrared lenses
· Conventional germanium lenses involve high cost and limited mechanical strength
· Complex automotive environments impose stringent requirements on optical and structural reliability
Product Features
· Designed to meet the requirements of automotive night vision ADAS applications
· Manufactured using a specialized forming process
· Rare-metal-free design: zinc sulfide (ZnS) lens
· Low thermal sensitivity combined with high mechanical strength
· DLC coating technology enabling a germanium-free protective window structure
