Color rendering illuminance meter CL-70F is a small, easy-to-use light source (including LED lighting and EL lighting) measuring instrument. CL-70F can provide entry-level solutions for CRI color rendering index, spectral irradiance, peak wavelength, tristimulus value, chromaticity, correlated color temperature, characteristic wavelength, color purity, illuminance and difference measurement.
The color rendering illuminance meter CL-70F is a portable handheld measuring instrument used to measure the color and illuminance of light sources (including brand new LED and EL light sources). The measurement data is displayed in the form of CRI color rendering index, tristimulus value, illuminance, chromaticity, characteristic wavelength, color purity, correlated color temperature and the difference from the target.
CL-70F can be used with the optional flash sync line to measure the spectrum of the photographic flash.
The utility software CL-SU1w included as a standard accessory contains more advanced functions for data capture and analysis.

The portable CL-70F body is designed for a variety of common lighting tasks, including lighting design and continuous maintenance. CL-70F can provide spectral information and CRI measurement, and is your first choice for entry-level experience of advanced optical measurement functions. When used with the flash sync line, it can perform the spectrum measurement of the flash, and CL-70F has become a powerful tool for easily responding to the professional imaging and entertainment markets.
CL-70F can easily process CRI measurement data. It displays the Ra value including all individual indices (R1 to R15) through a simple bar graph.
CL-70F can measure the correlated color temperature and the difference from the blackbody locus Δuv (usually used to describe the color of the light source). The color temperature of light is defined as the absolute temperature (unit: Kelvin) at which a black body can emit light of a specific color. The curve drawn by the color of the light emitted by the black body at different temperatures is called the "black body locus". Since the output of many light sources cannot completely match the black body curve, "correlated color temperature" is used to describe its color.
When using correlated color temperature to describe colors, in addition to correlated color temperature, it usually describes the difference from the blackbody locus ∆uv.
The rotating probe improves the visibility of the screen and makes the use of the instrument more comfortable.
Turn the swivel on the diffuser counterclockwise to perform dark field calibration.
Using CL-SU1w software included as a standard accessory, you can modify instrument settings, store and group data, and perform in-depth analysis of measurement data.
