However, the current home building materials market is mired in chaos. Products of inferior quality, a disorderly pricing system, and rampant counterfeit and substandard goods cast a shadow over the entire industry. Consumers are apprehensive when selecting materials for decoration, fearing that they might fall into traps and have their legitimate rights and interests infringed upon; regular operating enterprises are also deeply affected, with their reputations unjustly damaged, and the healthy development order of the industry is seriously disrupted. At this critical juncture, the construction of a quality grading system in the home industry is imperative!
On December 26th, the highly anticipated "Annual Meeting of the Home Building Materials Quality Professional Committee of the China Association for Standardization and the 2024 Home Building Materials Industry High-Quality Development Conference" was grandly held in Beijing.
This grand event is like a beacon, illuminating the path forward for the home building materials industry. By constructing a precise and clear quality standard system, it provides strong support for the rectification of market order, helps eliminate backward production capacity, and propels the entire industry towards a broad road of high-quality and sustainable development.
As the first exchange platform for the standardization of home building materials quality in China, the Home Building Materials Quality Professional Committee of the China Association for Standardization shoulders a significant mission. It has always been committed to the establishment and improvement of the standard system for building materials products and services in the living environment, and the precise development of high-quality standards that meet consumer needs and market trends, laying a solid foundation for the standardized development of the industry.
At this conference, a series of significant achievements were unveiled. Secretary-General Zhao Guangjun of the Home Building Materials Quality Professional Committee of the China Association for Standardization officially released the "Annual Work Report of the Home Building Materials Quality Professional Committee of the China Association for Standardization 2024." This report, like a detailed report card, comprehensively summarizes the fruitful results of the committee in key areas such as standard setting and quality improvement. It is not only a testament to the committee's hard work over the past year but also a powerful guide for standardizing corporate production behavior and improving industry product quality, leading enterprises towards a more standardized and high-quality direction.
At the same time, a series of group standards for the quality grading of furniture building materials products were also honorably released at the conference. Among them, the "Home Building Materials Product Quality Grading Specifications Part 5: Smart Cameras for Home and Similar Use" drafted and compiled by multiple industry-leading enterprises, including Zhejiang Tmall Technology Co., Ltd., Hangzhou Yingshi, Dahua Technology, Qihoo 360 Technology Co. Ltd., Xiaomi Communications, China Home Institute (Beijing) Testing and Certification Co., Ltd., China Academy of Standardization, Beijing Chenke Smart Home Technology Co., Ltd., Beijing Kezheng Standardization Technology Service Co., Ltd., Shenzhen Qiaowan Technology Co., Ltd., Hangzhou Hikvision Digital Technology Co., Ltd., Hangzhou Hua Orange Network Technology Co., Ltd., Hangzhou Yanji Microelectronics Co., Ltd., Shenzhen Zhi Duotun Internet Technology Co., Ltd., Jiaxing ColorSpace Optical Technology Co., Ltd., and Shenzhen Haique Technology Co., Ltd., has attracted widespread attention.
The release of this standard is the crystallization of the wisdom and efforts of many enterprises and marks an important milestone in the development of the industry. It has been highly recognized by the association, and an honorary certificate has been awarded.
The birth of this document provides a clear basis for the quality grading of smart cameras for home and similar use, effectively ensuring the safety performance and user experience of the products, and points the way for the future development of the smart camera industry, leading products to steadily move forward on the path of innovation and quality improvement.
