ISO is an independent international organization that brings together experts to share knowledge and develop voluntary, consensus-based, market relevant International standards that support innovation and provide solutions to global challenges.
This group is responsible for developing and publishing objective standards related to the valuation of digital still photography, including DSLR, mobile, security cameras, and much more (video and video standards not included). Working Group 18, along with ISO as a whole, defines methodologies and best practices and does not set minimum standards or requirements for image quality testing.
