2024 Beijing Medical Imaging Seminar Concludes with Resounding Success

On May 24th, the Beijing Medical Imaging Quality Technology Seminar and Training Session hosted by Colorspace successfully concluded！

1. Medical Imaging Quality Technology Seminar

From May 22nd to May 24th, 2024, Colorspace Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Colorspace") successfully held the Beijing Medical Imaging Quality Technology Seminar and Training Session in Yizhuang, Beijing.

As the first technology seminar in the North China region focusing on the medical industry, the core topics of this conference centered on the assessment methods of medical imaging. At this seminar, we showcased to the attendees a series of medical imaging standard testing solutions independently developed by Colorspace, which meet the metrological standards of the China Metrology Science Research Institute. In addition, the meeting also introduced and showcased the latest 4K imaging technology solutions developed by Colorspace, and we received a lot of positive feedback from the attendees.

This seminar event brought together many industry leaders, including Colorspace, China Metrology Science Research Institute, Zhongguancun ShuiMu Medical Testing Center, EIZO Corporation, Beijing Quanou Optical Testing Instruments Co., Ltd., Konica Minolta and other special guests and manufacturers, whose participation added rich colors to the event.

Li Tong from Colorspace led discussions on various topics, including the domestic medical endoscope testing standards such as YY0068.1-2008, YY/T1587, and YY/T1603. The dialogue also encompassed introductions to related testing equipment and supporting software solutions. Furthermore, the sessions highlighted the differences between international FDA testing and national standards. Additionally, the discussions explored strategies for enterprises to address the challenges posed by the lag of national standards in endoscope testing across various domestic testing institutions.
Xu Yingying from the China National Institute of Metrology, as the national hub for advanced metrological scientific research, primarily enlightened us on several key aspects. She discussed the scientific calibration of imaging systems and the importance of metrological traceability. Additionally, she presented metrological solutions tailored for medical endoscope imaging systems and other related topics.
Li Mingxuan from ShuiMu Medical Testing Center, representing China's first private third-party professional institution for medical device inspection and testing, provided an overview of the center's expertise in medical equipment evaluation. The center's capabilities encompass a range of specialized laboratories, including those dedicated to electromagnetic compatibility, electrical safety, reliability testing, packaging testing, in vitro diagnostic (IVD) assessments, and software testing, among others.
Cai Wei from EIZO introduced us to the robust color management capabilities of EIZO's professional monitors. The presentation highlighted the monitors' performance in areas such as color management, color gamut, and color space. Additionally, Cai Wei showcased EIZO's advanced professional 4K display solutions
Liu Yesong from TRIOPTICS GmbH shared the introduction of professional lens testing equipment, the importance of central deviation to lenses, and the advantages and disadvantages of reflection testing and transmission testing modes in central deviation. He also discussed the testing methods for parameters such as MTF, FOV, distortion, and magnification of medical endoscope hard mirrors.
Shi Tao from Colorspace presented an in-depth overview of the latest 4K imaging solutions tailored for medical endoscopes. He elaborated on the advanced imaging design scheme that leverages System on Chip (SOC) technology, highlighting its potential to revolutionize the field of medical imaging.

This Medical Imaging Quality Technology Seminar and Training Session attracted participants from all over the country, covering high-tech talents from universities, research institutions, medical device companies, and other fields.

At the meeting, we shared our research results and practical experiences from different perspectives, providing participants with an in-depth and comprehensive explanation of medical imaging quality testing technology. In addition, to enable participants to better master the assessment methods of medical imaging, practical operation training sessions were also organized. Through live demonstrations and hands-on operations, participants learned practical skills such as how to correctly use medical imaging testing equipment, how to perform image quality assessment tests, and optimization.

Hosting the Medical Imaging Quality Technology Seminar and Training Session, Colorspace aims to provide an exchange and learning platform for the industry, promote the development and application of medical imaging assessment methods, and promote the healthy development of the medical imaging industry.
