ColorSpace offers fully functional image quality test lab solutions for in-vehicle automation
CMS (Camera Monitor System), known in the industry as the electronic rear view mirror, is a combination of camera + monitor to replace the traditional functional rear view mirror, display mode for the external camera to capture images, processed and displayed in the cabin display, and at the same time can be integrated similar to blind zone warning, obstacle alert and other functions.
Electronic rear-view mirror is a new type of automotive vision device, the traditional rear-view mirror development so far has its own disadvantages: the field of view of the blind area is larger, increase wind resistance, the rear car high beam glare, rain and snow weather interference. With the continuous development of automobiles towards electronic and intelligent direction, the gradual maturity of automotive streaming mirror products has promoted the development and landing of CMS electronic rear view mirror. GB15084-2022《Motor vehicles-Devices for indirect vision-Requirements of performance and installation》New features have been added such as "camera-monitor system" and "dual-function system with viewfinder and CMS". The new regulations will come into force on 1 July 2023.
