Fluorescence technology has also been rapidly developed in the field of in vivo imaging. A typical example is the use of the near-infrared fluorescent dye indocyanine green (ICG) to aid imaging during surgery. ICG, injected into a patient's bloodstream, allows surgeons to see blood flow in tissues or lymph node locations under special near-infrared camera systems, like luminous markers for important structures. ICG fluorescence imaging is now quite common in surgery. To ensure that surgical imaging equipment accurately captures these fluorescence signals, hospitals can use Absofi's ICG fluorescence reference card to calibrate and test the equipment beforehand: before the operation begins, place the reference card in the camera field to check that the bright spots of each concentration gradient can be clearly identified. If the fluorescence of a certain level of brightness is not visible, it indicates that the sensitivity of the equipment may be insufficient or the ambient light interference is too strong and needs to be adjusted. This approach is similar to checking the brightness of the lights before driving at night to ensure that they illuminate the road sufficiently. Similarly, fluorescent reference cards ensure that the "night vision camera" in surgery is reliable and sensitive, and escorts doctors. In addition, these cards can also be used to train medical staff_let beginners intuitively understand the different intensity of fluorescence on the screen, so that they can quickly master the interpretation skills of fluorescence imaging.
