ISO 12233 Enhanced Digital Camera Resolution Test Chart (4000LW/PH)

The ISO 12233 Enhanced Digital Camera Resolution Test Chart is designed according to the ISO 12233:2000 Digital Still-Camera Resolution Test Standard for evaluating the spatial resolution performance of cameras, lenses, and imaging systems.

The chart incorporates precisely designed wedge patterns, line pair patterns, resolution targets, and auxiliary test elements to analyze imaging performance under different spatial frequencies and positions.

It supports a resolution measurement range from 500 to 4000 LW/PH (Line Widths per Picture Height). The center resolution area supports up to 4000 LW/PH, while edge regions support up to 2000 LW/PH, enabling comprehensive evaluation of imaging system resolution capability.

Available in multiple sizes, the chart is suitable for applications ranging from compact camera modules and consumer electronics to industrial cameras, automotive imaging systems, and optical testing laboratories.

This chart is used to measure sharpness from slanted-edge patterns (as Spatial Frequency Response = SFR) using the Imatest SFR module. It can also measure resolution from the hyperbolic wedges using the Imatest Wedge module (a part of Rescharts).

Details：

Building upon the standard version, this enhanced chart adds new testing features, including Siemens Star targets, 5° slanted-edge analysis, and extended resolution measurement up to 4000 LW/PH.
