Product description

Provide high-precision measurement for the white balance adjustment of LED-backlit LCD displays, greatly improving work efficiency

Use our original color analyzer CA-210 to adjust the white balance of the LCD display with LED backlight. The measured chromaticity error will be about ∆xy=0.010. If you use the new model CA-310, the measurement under the same conditions The error can be controlled at ∆xy=0.003, the color display is more natural, and the picture feels more realistic.

The measurement error caused by the deviation of the LED emission curve can be reduced to less than 1/3 of the traditional model

Even the luminous radiation curve of the same batch of LED backlights will often be different, and there will be an offset phenomenon of about 10nm at the peak of the LED. If a traditional color analyzer is used to measure and adjust the white balance of this characteristic screen, the error caused by the xy chromaticity may be close to about 0.010. But if CA-310 is used, the chromaticity error under the same conditions will be reduced to about 0.003, which is about 1/3 of the original, which greatly improves the measurement accuracy and stability.

*Use CA-310 to measure LED backlight displays with different peaks. After user calibration, screens with different offsets will get different measurement errors (differences from the true value)

Even under the extremely low brightness of 0.005cd/m2, high-speed measurement can be guaranteed

The use of signal-to-noise technology can achieve a measurement speed of 4 times per second even at a low brightness of 0.005cd/m2. This is very attractive to manufacturers who pursue a high contrast ratio of 100,000:1* (the direct effect of high-contrast display is a more realistic and clear picture). In addition, when the brightness is greater than 2cd/m2, the measurement speed can even reach 20 times/sec.
*When the highest brightness is 500cd/m2

*Some monitors with specific lighting methods cannot be measured. You can contact the nearest Konica Minolta representative for details.
For example, the following display devices cannot be measured with this type of instrument:

  • Displays that use PWM, etc. to control brightness
  • The backlight is an intermittently illuminated display
  • Black display for every frame
