The IEEE 2020 Flare Method A Test Chart is designed for evaluating flare performance of imaging systems in compliance with IEEE 2020-2024 Flare Method A, a variant of the ISO 18844 (Part C) standard. It measures unwanted light caused by internal reflections and scattering within the optical path.
The chart is manufactured using a high-precision Mylar photomask with non-reflective black patches and a stable light transmission layer.
It is intended for use with transmissive LED light sources in a completely dark environment to ensure valid and repeatable measurements.
Key Features
· Complies with IEEE 2020-2024 Flare Method A standard
· High-precision Mylar photomask with excellent transmission uniformity
· Non-reflective black regions minimize stray light and reflection
· Transmissive design for consistent illumination and accurate flare testing
· Suitable for lens, camera module, and optical imaging systems
· vailable in standard and custom sizes
